Wyndham Hotels and Resorts letter

The compromise was identified when Wyndham received information certain fraudulent credit card transactions could be traced back to their hotels. Transactional data was compromised and a unique file created using the account information.

Consumers affected by this compromise have been notified. Card companies have been notified and provided the actual card numbers involved. Credit monitoring has been offered for one year free for those affected.

Details

An undetermined number of individuals that maintained accounts with the company.

A third party vendor reported a back-up tape stolen that contained personal information. At this time initial research indicates no financial account numbers are involved. 

Affected consumers have received a notification letter and have been offered one free year of credit monitoring.

Radisson Hotels and Resorts

Who’s affected
Details

An undetermined number of hotel customers have been affected in the United States and Canada. An investigation is pending.

A Radisson spokesperson reports the attack on the company appears to be from an outside source. The attack was discovered when several credit card companies and card processors contacted the company.

Those individuals identified thus far have received notification letters offering a free year of credit monitoring.

Army National Guard – Arlington, VA

Name, SSN, home and email address, payroll information

Who’s affected
Details

Approximately 131,000 former and current Guard members, including 1,700 in Wisconsin. 800 of those from Wisconsin are currently on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A laptop containing personal information was stolen from a contractor. All individuals affected will receive a notification letter. Those affected are advised to place an active duty 12 month fraud alert on their credit report and monitor their personal accounts and credit report regularly.
