The US Census Bureau posted names, address and SSN on a public website on behalf of the USDA. The data belonged to the USDA for the purpose of processing farm loans. Individuals affected are being contacted via certified mail today and will be offered one year of free credit monitoring services. The USDA hotline number is 1-800-FED-INFO (1-800-333-4636). |
